![]() Worst game for me honestly motion sick wise so far is Elite Dangerous. Bethesda games in general make me not want to fast travel cause I play them for immersion and rp <- even if their games are getting weaker for that aspect). If I'm fast traveling it's not a game I'm playing to rp/immerse myself in but just for plain fun or just at the point I want to finish the game. I don't use fast travel (playing in survival mode and even before that I spurn the use of fast travel. ![]() When you see the upgrades little at a time, its hard to appreciate how much has changed. ![]() Now, with the current prices, he's actually interested in buying one. When he visited in 2017 in austin, even a single headset was prohibitively expensive for him. Most importantly, however, is that he was floored at the price of the Rift. I have two different rooms set up for room scale, so, unlike in ATX where all the VR shit we did was solo, this time we got to do some co-op VR, and Raw Data with 2 players blew his fucking mind. Also what blew his mind was that it's not pretty feasible to own two VR rigs. Specifically, that both my rift and vive are wireless, which to this dude is the single biggest game changer. Dude walked away feeling like where VR is now is leaps and bounds ahead of where it was in 2017. When he came by to my place, I cautioned him that the jump probably wasn't as big as it'd seemed between 20. So when he tried it in 2017, the leap was enormous for him. ![]() Time he'd tried it before that was 2014 with the DK1. Last time he'd tried it was February 2017 when I took my Vive with me to Austin, Tx to demo. Had a buddy come into town today, and he tried my VR setup. ![]()
